A Lifetime of Memories at Marram Taupo - The Ultimate Playground for Families

As I sat back to relax in our beautiful studio apartment at Marram Taupo, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the incredible experience my family and I had just enjoyed. With a lifetime membership spanning over 28 years, we've been fortunate enough to stay at various Marram units across New Zealand, each one exceeding our expectations.

This latest stay was no exception. Booking 12 months in advance allowed us to secure the perfect spot, and Marram's value and organization left my UK friends amazed. The fully serviced apartment came with WiFi, making it easy for us to stay connected while enjoying our well-deserved break.

What truly made this stay stand out, however, was the incredible location. We were just a short walk from the waterfront, Eden Park, and Pilot Bay, with shops, restaurants, and the general hub of Mount Maunganui at our doorstep. The studio room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

But what really impressed us was the attention to detail in the new builds in Wanaka. WOW Marram, you've truly outdone yourselves! As a family wanting a home away from home, this set-up is perfect. And with the beach, playground, and all the amenities just a stone's throw away, we felt like we were part of a lifetime playground.

Of course, no stay would be complete without trying some of the local cuisine. We highly recommend The Egmont St Eatery, Restaurant 1154, and Myrtle Bakery for delicious food and coffee. And if you're looking for something to do, take in a show at the Opera House or stroll along the Southern Walkway.

As we reflect on our stay, we're reminded of the incredible legacy that Marram has built over the years. Providing holiday homes for those brave souls during World War II allowed them some much-needed time, space, and rest. And now, 28 years later, this organization has given my family and me countless memories.

We can't wait to plan our next trip south with our dog, Annie, using Marram's pet-friendly homes. And as we look back on our stay, we're left feeling grateful for the top-notch accommodation that Marram provides. It truly is a lifetime playground for families like ours.
